Digestion: Taste (Open / Closed)

Determination, the digestion Variable, is how you best take in life and food, experience first, nutrition included. Taste is your determination color, and its two tone expressions are Open Taste and Closed Taste.

What it means for you
  • Taste is the determination color (the way you absorb). Here it concerns openness of the eating field, how receptive or protected your environment needs to be when you take things in. Tone then sets the expression, either open and adaptable or settled and private.
  • Open Taste takes in best with receptivity and adaptability, sensitive to the surrounding environment and able to do well across changing settings, foods, and company. The same openness brings a vulnerability to being conditioned, picking up the eating habits and preferences of others rather than your own.
  • Closed Taste takes in best in a stable, private, undisturbed setting, often alone or with close people, in quiet rather than crowds. That contained environment lets the body process food and significant experience cleanly. Pressure to eat or process in busy, social settings tends to work against it.
