Digestion: Thirst (Hot / Cold)

Determination, the digestion Variable, is how you best take in life and food, experience first, nutrition included. Thirst is your determination color, and its two tone expressions are Hot Thirst and Cold Thirst.

What it means for you
  • Thirst is the determination color (the way you absorb). Here the governing condition is temperature, the warmth or coolness of food, drink, and surrounding environment as you take things in. Tone then sets the expression, toward warmth or toward coolness.
  • Hot Thirst takes in best with warmth, warm meals and beverages, warming foods and spices, and often a warmer setting overall. This points to the nature of the food more than spice alone, and the body tends to absorb and find clarity when nourishment carries heat. Cold or chilly conditions can blunt the process.
  • Cold Thirst takes in best with coolness and balance, cooler food or a cooler environment, the system processing well when it is not overheated. The point is keeping the digestion from running too hot, and it can extend to calmer, less heated settings for both eating and decision-making.
